If you guessed Colonial Africa, you would be correct! The couple really wanted to keep things authentic by using all the right props, completed by an all-black staff of servants serving an all-white crowd of guests.



One of the captions for the photos even supposedly reads, "Remember how great it used to be when our people oppressed brown people? Good times." Ugh.

To add more salt to the proverbial wound, the ceremony reportedly took place in Mpumalanga, South Africa, which already has a history of forced, migration, segregation and apartheid thanks to the Dutch and British colonists. Isn't history fun?
