Wedding Magazine

The months leading up to your wedding is the most important as you'll want to ensure that everyone is prepped for the big day, including your personal grooming schedule. Every bride wants to look radiant and beautiful on their wedding day. Forget last minute facials and spa treatments a few days before your wedding - we all know what can happen if things go terribly wrong, for example a bad tan job or a pimply breakout after a facial. The trick is to get things done a few weeks or even months before.

Here is a list of the things you can consider to beautify yourself before your wedding:

Facial

Set yourself for a facial appointment one week before the wedding. If you know your skin well, you'll know how long it'll take for any breakouts to subside, so schedule your appointment a week or so in advance so that you'll be radiant on your wedding day.

Spray Tan

Spray tans are a godsent if your salon is known for delivering best results. But you may want to book yourself in about 3 days before the wedding so the tan will have time to settle.

Toning Massage

A toning massage is perfect anytime from a few days to a week before your big day.

Wax

You'll want to be spotless (or almost spotless) for the best day of your life. It’s best to give your skin time to recover so you’re feeling (and looking) your best, so get yourself an appointment a week before so your pores have enough time to heal properly after a wax job - and yes we're talking all kinds of wax including bikini, Brazilian and legs!

Lash Extensions

If you're not a fan of false eye-lashes and if you're worried they might fall off mid-way through your wedding, get your lashes extended five days before. The lashes will take three days to set and will deliver eye-opening results (you may not even need to wear mascara!)

Hair Extensions

If you're thinking of getting hair extensions, do this a month before the wedding so they will be in place for styling trials. Try to find a hairstylist who can use real human hair as the strands are finer and more uniform.

Dermatologist

Pay a visit to your dermatologist 6 months before your wedding. Your skin needs the weeks to get used to its new regimen or recover from some treatments.

Manicure/Pedicure

Manicures and pedicures are probably one of the safer spa treatments to get done on the day or a day before the wedding. Try to avoid anything too outrageous and opt for something nude to complement your wedding attire, that is if your wedding outfit is cream or ivory.

Groom

You can't be the only pretty thing getting married! Your fiance will want to look his best too, but if he hasn't a clue what to do, send him off to get groomed at a noted salon-spa a day or two before the wedding. He'll get a haircut, massage, manicure and pedicure, or whatever else you may want him to get to unveil the handsome prince you're about to marry.
