Your friend is closing in on being a married woman, so it's time to celebrate her last moments as a Miss! Or if you're planning a friend's bachelorette party, we've got some ideas for you to make sure your soon-to-be Mrs friend gets a party she won't forget!

1. Wild Party

The easiest, trouble-free, and popular choice for a hen's night is to get her out on the prowl so she can perform embarrassing tasks while getting drunk off her head. It's pretty simple and it doesn't cost much, but it'll surely be a big party with plenty of attention from clubbing customers. Embarrassing things a bride could do is



a. Wear a really embarrassing outfit
b. Get a guy to give her a condom
c. Wear a vest of sweets and get guys to use their mouths to pluck them off
d. Get a guy to give her 10 bucks

and the list goes on. You can even set up a theme for your night out ie. Cowboy, Disneyland, Retro, Latex...

2. Spa Day Out



A girl loves to be pampered. Why not take the bride to a spa? You girls can spend the day getting facials, manicures, pedicures, and massages. While you relax you can catch up and reminisce old times, gossip about your current life and share dreams about the future! The bride will surely appreciate the de-stressing time, and everyone will look cleaned up for the wedding!

3. Slumber Party



It's the thing you girls LOVED doing 10 years ago, so why not do it again? You can organize a slumber party with junk food, music, and have all the girls come in pyjamas! You can all do home-made masks, watch a chick flick and spend the night laughing away! To end, everyone can have a cup of hot chocolate, or a martini, before hitting the sack.

4. Karaoke



Rent a karaoke suite big enough for all your girlfriends, and have a blast making fools of yourselves. Belt your lungs out to Whitney, or try to sing along to an Indonesian 80s pop song by Kris Dayanti. Everyone will let their guards down and it'll just be a crazy singing fest for all the ladies to remember.

5. High Tea



Your bride may love the uniformed way of elegance, so organize a tea party for her! If one of you have a garden, you could emulate a Victorian tea party with doilies, sun bonnets and girly dresses.



You could serve tea, coffee, cakes and scones, and have all the girls sit around a pretty table before playing some games. Or you could have your tea party at a fancy hotel tearoom.

6. Into The Wild



If your girl loves the great outdoors, treat her to a hen's party in the jungle. We're not suggesting you take a hike and camp it out (although you can if you're all adventurous), but there are new eco-living concepts available - such as village looking hotels and villas in the jungle which you can rent. Have a barbecue, bring along some music and 'rough' it up!

7. Country & Western



Some women love America's wild wild west, so get on your boots, daisy dukes and cowboy hats and head on down to a country and western pub! You can all get someone to teach you line dancing or just spend the night partyin' ala Coyote Ugly.

8. Trip It Internationally



Why not take your girl over the seas and far far away? Or even to the country next door! Plan a hen's vacation to Bali, or Singapore, or China, and if you can, get everyone on a plane to Sydney! At the same time, everyone will get a holiday, and will get to party with their best girls. Unfortunately, tripping it will cost a bit more than your usual painting-the-town-red.

9. Trip It Locally



There are many vacation spots in our homeland, so why not organize a beach party? Get on a bus to Penang, or Langkawi, or go the distance to the Perhentian Islands! You'll all get lovely tans and you'll be able to have a bikini party without meddling boys (well, boys whom you know, that is). If you're not too keen on beaches you can always organize a food-hunting trip to Penang/Malacca, or enjoy the cool breeze up in Cameron Highlands or Genting Highlands.

10. Theme Park



Who says you can't be like excited little girls? Get everyone down to a themepark and get on all the rides like there's no tomorrow! Waterparks and theme parks such as Sunway Lagoon are perfect for a bit of sun, water, and fun! You'll have many photo opportunities to share with each other.
